Our residency program was established in 1979 by the Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute. In 2007, the Institute for Family Health took over operation of the residency program and its partner health centers.

The Institute for Family Health was established as a non-profit organization in 1983. Today, the Institute operates 16 health centers in the Mid-Hudson region and New York City. In addition to the Mid-Hudson residency program, the Institute, in partnership with Beth Israel Medical Center, operates the Beth Israel Department of Family Medicine and the Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Practice in Manhattan.

Our residents do their hospital work at the Kingston Hospital.

Residents are welcome to use the Kingston Hospital Library.
