Our commitment to serving the total person is central to our Human Service Ministry. Since 1987, when we were founded, we have been distributing food to more than 500 families each month. We also educate and advocate for health and nutrition, as well as for Medicaid and Medicare and related emergency services. There is always a need for some level of help, and we have always tried to respond. Bronx Health Reach has been a great partner, and we have both learned and benefited from our relationship. BHR has enabled us to share resources more effectively and has influenced our healthy eating program with more focus on nutritious foods and diabetes screenings.
